Sewell - Ancient Footpath Through Sewell Farm Set To Be Closed Up

An ancient footpath, claimed to have been closed for 139 years, and shown in 18th century maps leading off Sewell Lane, in Houghton Regis parish, could be lost altogether unless objections are made to recent deliberations at Central Bedfordshire Council. The resident farmer wants it closed for security and safety reasons, and argues that an alternative path FP33 is shorter and more scenic (see linked documents on CBC website)
